Christian Pulisic is reportedly one of the names on Liverpool's shortlist to replace Mohamed Salah after the American's blistering start at AC Milan.

  WHAT HAPPENED?

  Liverpool have taken note of Pulisic's bright start to the season, which has seen the American grab three goals and two assists in the opening five Serie A games. Italian outlet have claimed that Liverpool would need to double the €20 million (£16.6m/$22.3m) Milan paid for Pulisic in July 2023.

  Pulisic still has three years remaining on his contract at Milan, with the Italian giants also understood to have a one-year option on his deal. The forward has also shown no desire to leave Milan or return to the Premier League after finding his best form in Italy. Salah, meanwhile, has been tipped to leave Liverpool upon the expiry of his contract next summer, with a host of top clubs said to be queueing up to sign him.
